What to Do if I Have a Claim
No one wants to have a claim, but when it happens you need answers right away. Whether you were involved in an auto accident or a tree just fell and damaged your house we are here to help. Knowing what to do immediately after the claim will help you remain calm in a difficult situation and can help ease concerns when filing a claim. Here are a just a few things to keep in mind.
Automobiles and Motorcycles

- Get help for anyone who is injured.
- Call the police and stay at the scene until they arrive.
- Do not admit fault.
- Get the names, addresses and phone numbers of everyone involved, including passengers and witnesses.
- Make note of the year, make, and model of all vehicles involved.
- Examine and record any damage to other vehicles or property. If you have a camera, take pictures of the damage to the autos or property involved.
- Contact your insurance company as soon as possible to report the claim.
